Infertility* Dr. Kayani Beaumont, TX tubaligation *Crystal
My name is Crystal and I want to share my story. I am 30 yrs. old and was married young and by age 20 I had 2 beautiful boys. I thought me and their dad would live happily ever after so when my youngest was born we decided to get my tubes tied. Anthony (my youngest son) was born in Beaumont, TX. and was delivered by Dr. Khalid Kayani. He was also the Dr. that did my tubaligation right after Anthony was born. Well, happily ever after ended a year later and I got divorced. Now lets fast forward to 10 years later. I am now with a wonderful man who has no children of his own, but is a wonderful step dad to my boys. A year ago we started talking about having our own baby and six months ago decided to go for it. Well, june 2009 I underwent a tubal reversal by one of the most prominent doctors in the USA. His findings were that my tubes were burned and scarred all the way leaving 2 cm left out of 10cm I started with. Tubiligations are across the board known to damage about 3 cm of tube but Dr.Khalid Kayani destroyed 8 cm. In all the years my doctor has practiced he said that he had never seen such brutality. He also said that Dr. Khalid Kayani knew better than to be so carelesst with a girl that is only 20 years old. Any doctor that practices medicine should practice with ethics. My doctor said that what was done to me was unethical. After waisting $6,400 my only option to have a baby is In-Vitro! THANKS FOR F!@$%*$ me up DR. KAYANI your a real upstanding kind of guy!

Dr. Kayani is (for lack of a better bad word) a dick head. My cousin, who had a positive home pregnancy test, went to see Dr. Kayani. He sent her to quest to have labs done, a CBC, to be exact. The results came back and the tests were negative. She has all symptoms of being pregnant including movement in her tummy OH but Dr. Kayani's explanation is "you are fat, not pregnant" He didn't tell her why she's nausiated, tired, cranky, has cravings and what is MOVING in her body...he presecribed prometrium and sent her away.... What?! That's it? Oh..he asked her if she was "afraid of cancer" but didn't explain why... now she's left with I'm fat and might have cancer... No ultrasound (although she requested) no follow up except..take this medicine and call me in a week. WOW...take a cookie and call me in a week...what a doctor! When she asked him if the meds will help bring her belly back to it's normal size his response was "this will not make you lose weight, you won't be as skinny as her" and points to me. He had ALOT to say, but nothing that mattered. "why do you want more kids when you already have three" or "you need to lose weight" that sucks... my cousin isn't FAT.. a-hole
ReplyDeleteHe was my physician when I was pregnant with my daughter. He was the only Dr I would see for my insurance at the time. He never had my chart when he came in my room. I had to ask about my tripple screen...he left the room to "look in my chart" and came back and said it was normal. It about 32 weeks he never told me I was dilated, but at 34 said you are about the "same" 1-2 cm dilated....I gave birth 3 days later...THANKFULLY another doctor was on call. I was scared to death the have him deliver her. Something was just "off". When I switched Docs. I had my "chart" faxed over....1 page, front and back....for EIGHT months of appointments?!?! Terrible doctor! A friend had to use him as well. She had a normal appointment after her c-section and he recommended she get her tubes tied and said "you can't replace a baby if one of yours dies" WHAT!? really!? She didn't have them tied thankfully and has had another beautiful baby....terrible guy!
ReplyDeleteI think it is because of lack of experience, and you have paid price for this. I always suggest qualified surgeon for this type of surgery.
ReplyDeleteI had my Tubal Ligation on July 15, 2008. I recently just ordered my Operative Report from Baptist Memorial Hermann Hospital due to the fact I wanted to try to have more kids. Doctor Khalid Kayani stated in the Operative Report that he only cauterized 3/4 of an inch of my fallopian tubes left and right. Which at the time I thought was excellent because that made me a good candidate for a Tubal Reversal. I've had my Tubal Reversal and I'm so devastated to learn that Doctor Khalid Kayani didn't do what he stated on my Tubal Ligation Operative Report. The findings from my Tubal Reversal doctor was noted as, On the Operative Note, doctor stated that he cauterized about 3 quarters of inch of the fallopian tubes both right and left side. However, in bringing the tubes and visualizing only 2 or 3 cm were salvageable. The rest of the tube appeared desiccated from the figuration at the time of sterilization operation. I'm only stating this because what Doctor Khalid Kayani did was wrong, he burned all my tubes including my fimbria except 2 to 3 centimetres. I was healthy and nothing was the matter with my ovaries are fallopian tubes. I tried talking to Dr. Khalid Kayani and his only words was he done his job. So I asked his nurse what job was that to take all my tube even my fimbria. Who gave him the right to destroy or take matters into his own hand for a healthy person for no reason? Or for Dr. Khalid Kayani to say he done his job. I've never seen a Tubal Ligation done the way mine was done. Even so why lie on the paperwork if you done your job. My fallopian tubes right and left should not of been shorter than 7cm if he done what he stated in the Operative Report. Also I was only 22years old at the time and now I'm 29. With still no findings of the reason. I have no cyst, fibroids,ptls nothing and my ovaries are healthy
